Job summary

Zutari, a well-established engineering firm, seeks a Maintenance Technician to ensure the optimal functioning, safety and upkeep of building systems and equipment. You will perform routine and preventative maintenance, troubleshoot issues and carry out repairs to maintain a safe, efficient and compliant environment for staff and visitors.

The role requires basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry and HVAC work; record-keeping; adherence to OHS regulations; and driving as needed.

Qualifications

• 1 year maintenance experience.
• Proficiency in basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry and HVAC systems.
• Must be able to safely and effectively use hand and power tools.
• Valid driver's license - essential.

Responsibilities

• General maintenance and repair of building structures, systems and equipment.
• Preventative maintenance on building systems and equipment.
• Inspections and troubleshooting of facilities, equipment and systems.
• Work order management and documentation.
• Repair or replace malfunctioning equipment and appliances.
• Adhere to OHS regulations and building codes.
• Administrative tasks and reporting on inspections and maintenance.
• Ad hoc tasks including driving up to 40% of time.
