Job summary

Broll Property Group Pty Ltd in Gauteng is seeking a qualified Building Maintenance Technician to perform preventive maintenance, install equipment, and assist with routine tasks across the facility.

You will inspect and repair building systems, respond to tenant maintenance requests, maintain records of work orders and safety inspections, and cooperate with the building supervisor to keep the property in excellent condition.

Qualifications

• Education/Certification: Standard Eight (Grade10) and additional training in maintenance and repair procedures.
• Two years of related maintenance experience.
• Basic knowledge of safety protocols and ability to read blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance, install new equipment and assist with routine maintenance tasks.
• Inspect buildings and equipment, identify maintenance needs and schedule work with supervisor.
• Respond promptly to tenant maintenance requests and coordinate with building staff.
• Maintain accurate work orders, materials issued and maintenance records.
• Follow safety rules, OSH procedures and ensure compliance with regulations.
