Red Ember Recruitment (PTY) Ltd is seeking a Maintenance Handyman for a client in Franschhoek, South Africa. The role focuses on keeping facilities and equipment well maintained across properties, with a proactive, solution-oriented approach.

The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in electrical, plumbing, or air conditioning maintenance, and a basic toolkit. Matric is required; a technical qualification is beneficial. Local Franschhoek area candidates are preferred.

Competenze

• Matric certificate is required.
• Technical qualification in Facilities/Maintenance/Engineering is beneficial.
• Experience in hotel or property maintenance is advantageous.
• Minimum of 2 years’ general electrical, plumbing, and/or air conditioning maintenance.

Mansioni

• Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and annual servicing of tools and equipment.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests from various departments.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment issues and arrange for external service as required.
• Perform general handyman tasks including plumbing, electrical work, carpentry, painting, and building repairs.
• Respond to building maintenance requests in a timely manner.
• Maintain an accurate inventory of tools, equipment, spare parts, and materials.
• Keep detailed records of all maintenance activities and repairs.
