Facilities Intern role supporting operational, maintenance, and project coordination within Momentum Group’s dynamic Facilities Management team.
Your Role
Here’s what you will be doing:
- Assist with coordination and administration of facilities management activities across company sites
- Support maintenance planning and follow‑up on preventative and reactive maintenance tasks
- Assist with facilities inspections to identify maintenance, safety, or operational issues
- Support facilities‑related projects including project tracking, scheduling, and contractor coordination
- Assist with compiling reports, updating records, and maintaining facilities documentation
- Monitor service provider and contractor activities to ensure compliance with company standards and safety requirements
- Assist with health, safety, and compliance initiatives within the facilities environment
- Support sustainability and energy efficiency initiatives across facilities operations
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and the Facilities team to ensure efficient service delivery
About You
The company is looking for:
- Grade 12 or equivalent qualification
- National Diploma or Degree in Facilities Management, Project Management, Engineering, Built Environment, or related qualification
- Basic understanding of facilities operations, maintenance principles, and project coordination
- Strong administrative and organisational skills
- Previous internship, practical training, or exposure within facilities, maintenance, engineering, or project environments advantageous
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong interest in facilities management and infrastructure operations
- Good planning and organisational skills
- Strong attention to detail and problem‑solving ability
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
- Willingness to learn and develop within a corporate facilities environment
