Qualifications

About the Role Our client, a significant operator in the Oil & Gas exploration and production sector, is looking for a dedicated Facilities Engineer to join their team in Vereeniging . This role is crucial for the design, construction, operation, and maintenance of upstream production facilities. You will be responsible for ensuring that our facilities are safe, reliable, efficient, and environmentally compliant. The position involves working on a variety of projects, from minor modifications to major capital expansions. This is a hybrid role, blending essential on-site presence for direct oversight and operational engagement with the flexibility of remote work for detailed analysis and reporting. The ideal candidate will possess a strong engineering background, practical experience with process equipment, and a solid understanding of relevant industry codes and standards. You will collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, including operations, drilling, reservoir engineering, and HSE. We seek a proactive problem-solver who can contribute to optimizing facility performance and driving continuous improvement in operational excellence. Your expertise will be key to the successful management and development of our production infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
