You will evaluate existing infrastructure, recommend upgrades, and help design new systems while collaborating with offshore operations teams.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering, 7+ years in facilities engineering with offshore O&G experience, and strong communication for remote

Qualifications

• Knowledge of offshore platform systems, FEED/EPC is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering support for operation and maintenance of offshore platform facilities.
• Evaluate performance of process systems, utilities, and safety equipment.

About the Role

Our client, a prominent force in the Oil & Gas industry, is actively seeking a highly experienced Facilities Engineer for a fully remote position. This role is crucial for the design, operation, and maintenance oversight of offshore platform facilities, ensuring safety, reliability, and efficiency. You will be involved in evaluating existing infrastructure, recommending upgrades, and contributing to the design of new platform systems. The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of topsides facilities, including process systems, utilities, structural integrity, and safety equipment. Working remotely, you will collaborate closely with offshore operations teams, project engineers, and management to provide expert technical guidance and support. This position requires strong analytical skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and effective communication to bridge the gap between remote expertise and on-site execution. You will play a key part in maintaining the integrity and performance of critical offshore assets. This role offers significant flexibility and the chance to impact major projects globally.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide engineering support for the operation and maintenance of offshore platform facilities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in facilities engineering, with a significant focus on offshore Oil & Gas operations.
• In-depth knowledge of offshore platform systems, including process, utilities, and safety design.
• Experience with facility design, FEED, and EPC processes is advantageous.
• Strong understanding of structural integrity, corrosion control, and asset integrity management.
• Proficiency in relevant engineering software and simulation tools.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, effective for remote collaboration.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a remote setting.
