Job summary

NSRI is seeking a proactive donor fundraiser to engage with the public at venues in Cape Town and surrounding areas. You will build relationships, secure donations, and drive participation in NSRI initiatives while representing the organization with integrity and passion.

The role emphasizes resilience, excellent communication, and the ability to travel regularly; a Grade 12 education and English proficiency are required, with ownership of reliable transport a must.

Qualifications

• Grade 12/equivalent required.
• 1–2 years’ experience in a face-to-face sales or relationship environment.
• Fundraising experience is an advantage.
• Proficient in English; other languages an advantage.

While NSRI crews and lifeguards are out saving lives, we have a team raising funds to support their efforts. The purpose of this role is to generate donations and build relationships with donors at venues, in person, for the NSRI.If you are goal-oriented, a self-starter and have excellent communication skills, we’d love to consider you for our dynamic team.
