Village n Life in Camps Bay is seeking a Market Manager to oversee overall operations, drive revenue and maintain high guest service standards. You will work closely with Kitchen, Food & Beverage and senior management to maximise commercial opportunities while upholding Village n Life standards.

The role requires 3–5 years in hospitality or restaurant operations, with prior management experience, strong financial acumen and a hands-on leadership style. Weekend and public holiday work is common.

Qualifikationen

• 3–5 years’ experience in hospitality or restaurant operations
• Previous management experience with responsibility for operations, staff and business performance
• Strong commercial awareness with budgeting, cost control and profitability focus
• Knowledge of stock management, purchasing and supplier coordination
• Proactive, hands-on and results-driven with accountability

Aufgaben

• Manage and coordinate all food and beverage operations to ensure high-quality guest experience
• Drive revenue growth and profitability through business planning and cost management
• Monitor financial performance including budgets, costs and profitability
• Develop operational strategies to improve performance and trading opportunities
• Lead, coach and develop the team; manage staffing and performance
• Maintain stock control, purchasing, stock rotations and wastage reduction
• Ensure compliance with health and safety, hygiene and employment policies
• Build relationships with suppliers and stakeholders and report on business performance
