Village n Life in Camps Bay seeks a Market Manager to oversee food and beverage operations, drive revenue, and ensure guest satisfaction. You will manage daily activities, lead a high-performing team and work closely with kitchen and senior management to uphold group standards.

The role demands a proactive, hands-on leader with strong financial acumen, inventory control and a focus on profitability in a high-volume hospitality environment.

• Strong commercial awareness and an understanding of revenue generation, budgeting and profitability.

Responsabilidades

• Manage and coordinate all food and beverage operations, ensuring seamless service and a consistently high-quality guest experience.
• Drive revenue growth and profitability through effective business planning, sales initiatives, cost management and the identification of new commercial opportunities.
• Monitor financial performance, including revenue, expenditure, budgets, operating costs and profitability, implementing corrective measures where required.
• Develop and implement operational strategies to improve business performance, increase customer spend and maximise trading opportunities.
• Manage staffing requirements, including recruitment, training, scheduling, duty allocations and performance management.
• Lead, coach and develop the team, fostering accountability, teamwork and a culture of service excellence.
• Monitor equipment, maintenance and operational requirements, ensuring issues are reported and addressed promptly.
• Maintain accurate operational and management reports, including financial performance, stock variances, staffing, incidents and other relevant business information.
