Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a seasoned Food & Beverage Manager to lead the culinary operations in Richards Bay. You will oversee restaurants, bars, room service and banquets, driving service quality and profitability.

The role requires 5+ years in F&B management, strong P&L, cost control, and staff leadership. A Hospitality Management diploma or Culinary Arts degree is highly regarded; subsistence accommodation and meals are provided.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in F&B management within hotels/restaurants.
• Proven ability to manage P&L, costs and inventories.
• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• Knowledge of culinary trends, wine and spirits; high service standards.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of all F&B outlets: restaurants, bars, room service, banquets.
• Develop menus, specials and beverage programs aligned with market trends.
• Control procurement and costs to maximize profitability without compromising quality.
• Lead, train and mentor the F&B team to deliver service excellence.
