EXTERNAL SALES EXECUTIVE – PRINTING, SIGNAGE & OFFICE AUTOMATION

Location: Sandton, Johannesburg

Salary: Negotiable based on skills and experience + commission

An established company within the printing, signage and office automation industry is looking for a driven and energetic External Sales Executive to join its Sandton team.

We are looking for a true hunter sales profile who enjoys prospecting, opening doors and developing new business, while building strong long-term client relationships.

Key Responsibilities

• Proactively identify and develop new business opportunities.
• Conduct cold calling, prospecting, networking and face-to-face client visits.
• Build and maintain a strong pipeline of prospective customers.
• Identify client requirements and recommend suitable printing, signage and related solutions.
• Prepare quotations, costings and proposals.
• Follow up consistently on leads and quotations to drive conversions.
• Negotiate and close new business.
• Grow existing client accounts through upselling and cross-selling.
• Achieve agreed monthly sales and revenue targets.
• Maintain accurate CRM records, sales activity and pipeline reporting.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years' external B2B sales experience.
• Previous experience within printing, signage, litho and/or office automation is highly advantageous.
• Proven track record of new business development and achieving sales targets.
• Strong hunter mentality with excellent prospecting and closing skills.
• Confident and professional when engaging business decision-makers.
• Strong quotation, costing, negotiation and relationship-building skills.
• Valid driver's license and own reliable vehicle.
• Computer literate and comfortable working with CRM systems.
