Qualifications

• Master's or PhD in Geology or related earth science.
• 6+ years in petroleum exploration or development geology.
• Proficiency in seismic interpretation and mapping software.
• Strong sedimentary basins, stratigraphy and structural geology knowledge.
• Experience with prospect risking and resource estimation methodologies.
• Excellent presentation and report-writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyze geological and geophysical data including seismic surveys and core samples.
• Identify and evaluate hydrocarbon prospects and leads.
• Develop detailed subsurface geological models and maps.
• Estimate and report discovered and prospective resources.
• Collaborate with reservoir engineers and geophysicists on integrated studies.
• Conduct geological field work as required.
