Qualifications

• MSc or PhD in Geology or a related earth science discipline.

• Strong understanding of sedimentary basins, depositional environments, and hydrocarbon systems.
• Experience with 3D seismic interpretation is highly desirable.

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly motivated Geologist specializing in Exploration to join their team in Durban. This role will be instrumental in identifying and evaluating potential new oil and gas prospects. You will be responsible for interpreting geological data, generating exploration targets, and contributing to the geological understanding of basins. Working within a collaborative environment, you will play a key role in shaping the company's future exploration strategy in the region and beyond, based out of our Durban offices.
