You will build strong brand reputation, manage stakeholder relationships, and mentor a PR team while collaborating with marketing and corporate comms to ensure integrated communications.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in PR, communications, journalism, marketing, or related field.
• 10+ years in public relations with at least 4 in leadership.
• Proven success building and executing high-impact PR strategies.
• Experience managing media relations for prominent brands in hospitality or tourism.
• Crisis communications and reputation management expertise.
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
• Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
• Extensive network of media contacts and influencers.
• Proficiency in PR software and media monitoring tools.
• Willing to be based in Cape Town, Western Cape.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive PR strategy aligned with business objectives.
• Oversee media relations, press releases, media kits, interviews, and press conferences.
