Placements24 is seeking a highly experienced Senior Public Relations Manager for a Centurion-based role. You will lead the development and execution of strategic PR programs, manage media relations, and protect the company's reputation.

You will act as a senior adviser to leadership, oversee crisis communications, mentor junior staff, and collaborate with marketing to shape public messaging across national and international outlets.

Qualifications

• Master's degree required in PR/Communications or related field.
• 8+ years of progressive PR experience, including senior management.
• Strong media relations, corporate communications and crisis management.
• Strategic thinking, problem solving and stakeholder influence.
• Proven leadership and mentoring skills.
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders in a corporate Gauteng setting.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement high-level PR strategies aligned with objectives and brand messaging.
• Manage relationships with national and international media outlets and influencers.
• Oversee creation and dissemination of press materials, including press releases and speeches.
• Lead crisis communication efforts with proactive and reactive strategies.
• Provide strategic counsel to senior leadership on communications matters.
• Supervise and mentor junior PR staff.
