Humankind in Rustenburg, South Africa, seeks an executive Head of IT and Digital Information to join EXCO and drive the organisation's digital and smart-mining transformation. The role leads IT governance, major systems (SAP, EA), cybersecurity, and multi-million-rand budgets, reporting to the board and EXCO, to deliver competitive advantage in mining.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field, plus MBA/MSc or equivalent.
• CISM, CISSP, CRISC, COBIT, or TOGAF certification preferred.
• 12–15 years of progressive IT experience, including 5+ years at senior/executive level.

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise-wide IT governance across the group.
• Drive smart mining transformation including AI, IIoT, OT/SCADA integration and big data.
• Oversee major systems leadership, including SAP and enterprise architecture.
• Define cybersecurity strategy and protect information assets.
• Manage multi-million-rand CAPEX/OPEX budgets and strategic vendor partnerships.
• Provide board-level reporting and EXCO participation.
