Job summary

African Echoes Recruitment is assisting a 5-star luxury game lodge in Pilanesberg National Park to recruit an experienced Executive Housekeeper. You will lead the Housekeeping department, ensuring guest service delivery meets 5-star standards and staff are motivated, trained and efficient.

The ideal candidate has Hotel School Diploma or equivalent, solid 5-star housekeeping leadership, and a hands-on approach with excellent communication and organisational skills. Live-in role offered.

Qualifications

• Hotel School Diploma or equivalent in Hospitality/Accommodation Services.
• Solid experience as a Housekeeping Manager in a 5-star environment.
• Strong attention to detail and guest-centric approach.
• Ability to drive change and identify operational efficiencies.
• In-depth knowledge of laundry operations.
• Excellent communication skills and developed emotional intelligence.

Responsibilities

• Manage the Housekeeping department according to company policies and 5-star standards.
• Ensure excellent guest service at all times.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the lodge.
• Monitor staff productivity and daily administration and operational functions.
• Monitor consumption and procurement of guest amenities, linen, chemicals and cleaning supplies.
• Manage and lead the Housekeeping team effectively.

A 5-star luxury game lodge in Pilanesberg National Park, North West is seeking an experienced and hands-on Executive Housekeeper with a keen eye for detail, strong leadership and excellent organisational skills.
