The ideal candidate has a strong track record in chemical manufacturing, with 10+ years in operations and at least 5 years in management, plus expertise in process safety and regulatory compliance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- 10+ years of progressive experience in chemical plant operations.
- 5+ years in a management role.
- Strong knowledge of process safety management (PSM) and environmental regulations.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all plant operations, including production, maintenance, quality control, and safety.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve plant production targets and financial goals.
- Manage the plant budget, ensuring cost-effective operations and resource allocation.
- Ensure full compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Lead, motivate, and develop the plant operations team, fostering a high-performance culture.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and improve overall plant performance.
