The Opportunity

We are looking for an experienced Estimator / Cost Estimator to join a team based in Pietermaritzburg.

This role is suited to someone with previous experience in estimating, costing, quoting or pricing, who can interpret project information, extract details from drawings and translate these into accurate pricing. You will also be involved in supplier negotiations, sourcing, tender pricing, planning, logistics and project cost management.

Strong Microsoft Excel skills are essential, along with excellent attention to detail and the ability to work with costs, quotations and project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare estimates, quotations and costings based on project requirements.
• Extract relevant information from drawings and transfer it into pricing software.
• Assist with tender pricing and negotiate competitive costs.
• Source materials, products and resources from suppliers.
