Job summary

Pillango Placements is seeking an experienced ERP leader to build and manage a high-performing ERP support desk in Gauteng. You will guide senior support staff, mentor junior consultants and drive service improvements across multiple ERP platforms.

Ideal candidates have 8+ years in ERP environments and 3+ years in leadership, with strong problem-solving, stakeholder management and metrics-driven service delivery.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years in ERP consulting, implementation or support.
• At least 3 years in senior support, team lead or leadership role.
• Strong live ERP environment support experience.
• Solid ERP process knowledge across finance, supply chain, inventory, manufacturing, procurement and sales.

Responsibilities

• Build and manage ERP support desk with processes, standards and escalation.
• Lead workload planning, ticket prioritisation and SLA management.
• Serve as senior escalation point for complex ERP issues.
• Support customers across finance, inventory, procurement, supply chain, manufacturing, sales and service.
• Troubleshoot configuration and process issues and advise on system use improvements.
• Manage customer communication and relationships with key accounts.
• Collaborate with consultants, developers and specialists to resolve problems.
• Lead root-cause analysis and reduce recurring issues.
• Recruit, coach and develop junior consultants and create development paths.
