Placements24 in Port Elizabeth is seeking an experienced Equipment Installation Supervisor to lead a team of technicians and manage installation projects. You will coordinate resources, ensure safety, quality, and client satisfaction throughout the installation lifecycle.

The ideal candidate will have a strong Installation & Maintenance background, excellent leadership skills, and a proven track record of delivering complex on-site projects in the Eastern Cape.

About the Role

Our client is looking for an experienced and results-oriented Equipment Installation Supervisor to oversee and manage installation projects in Port Elizabeth . You will lead a team of technicians, ensuring that all installations are carried out efficiently, safely, and to the highest quality standards. This role involves planning, coordinating resources, monitoring progress, and ensuring client satisfaction throughout the installation lifecycle. The ideal candidate has a strong background in the Installation & Maintenance field, excellent leadership skills, and a proven track record of successfully managing complex on-site projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and guide a team of installation technicians, providing direction and technical expertise.
• Plan and schedule installation activities, coordinating manpower, equipment, and materials.
• Monitor project progress, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
• Conduct site inspections to ensure work is performed safely and according to specifications.
• Liaise with clients and other stakeholders to address concerns and ensure project success.
• Perform final quality checks and sign-offs on completed installations.

Requirements

• Significant experience in a supervisory or leadership role within equipment installation and maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of installation procedures, safety protocols, and best practices in the Installation & Maintenance industry.
• Proven ability to manage and motivate a technical team effectively.
• Excellent organizational and project management skills, with a keen eye for detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and team members.
• Must be based in or willing to relocate to Port Elizabeth and possess a valid driver's license.
