Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and test equipment and systems at various customer locations according to established protocols and technical documentation.
• Troubleshoot and resolve installation‑related issues, performing repairs and adjustments as needed to ensure optimal system performance.
• Conduct thorough site assessments to determine installation requirements and identify potential challenges prior to commencing work.
• Provide basic user training and support to clients on the proper use and maintenance of installed systems.
• Maintain accurate records of all installation activities, including materials used, time spent, and any deviations from the standard procedure.
• Adhere strictly to all safety regulations and company policies while on client premises.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Installation Technician or in a similar hands‑on technical role, preferably within the Installation & Maintenance sector.
• Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, or relevant technical systems depending on the product line.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
• Valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle for travel to different installation sites in and around Pietermaritzburg .
• Good communication and interpersonal skills for client interaction.
