Job summary

Midvaal invites applications for EPWP General Worker in various departments. The role requires Grade 10 (Grade 12 is an added advantage) and a valid driver’s license is preferred. Applicants should be bilingual with strong interpersonal and communication skills and reside in the Midvaal area.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading materials, setting traffic signs, maintaining a clean site, and performing labour tasks as directed. Fixed term contract for 2 years with a daily rate of R164.33.

Qualifications

• Grade 10 is required; Grade 12 is an added advantage.
• Valid driver’s license is an added advantage.
• Must be bilingual with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Residence within the Midvaal area will be given preference.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for loading and off-loading of materials and equipment with safety tools.
• Put out traffic signs to warn traffic near municipal roads during excavation.
• Clean the working area using manual labour tools to maintain a clean environment.
• Do any labour-related work as requested by supervisor or superintendent.
• Follow all legal instructions from the supervisor to ensure productivity.
• Perform any other related Ad Hoc tasks as requested by management.
