Unlike many community initiatives that primarily target entry-level youth, this specific programme is a dedicated work opportunity initiative aimed at individuals over the age of 35. It focuses specifically on creating short-term employment through practical, on-the-job experience while upgrading vital local infrastructure and managing the surrounding environment.

  • Practical Experience: Gain valuable, practical on-the-job experience in the construction and environmental management sectors.
  • Skill Enhancement: Refine your existing manual skills under the supervision of infrastructure professionals.
  • Community Development: Contribute directly to the improvement, maintenance, and growth of infrastructure in your residential area.

  • Performing diverse practical construction tasks, manual labor, and environmental management duties as assigned by the site supervisor.
  • Handling standard construction tools, equipment, and materials safely and efficiently.
  • Adhering strictly to standard health and safety regulations, rules, and procedures to ensure a hazard-free working environment.
  • Collaborating closely with site teams and foremen to meet short-term project deadlines and infrastructure goals efficiently.
  • Cleaning and maintaining project sites, ensuring tools are stored properly at the end of each shift.

To qualify for these fixed-term positions, applicants must fulfill the following strict criteria:

  • Age Profile: Must be between 35 and 55 years of age to qualify for this specific intake.
