Job summary

Midvaal Local Municipality is seeking a data capture clerk for the Engineering & Community Services section. The role focuses on handling internal queries, performing accurate data entry, and managing EPWP leave records.

Applicants should have Grade 12, be MS Word/Excel proficient, and preferably hold a valid driver's license. Preference is given to Midvaal residents; 2-year fixed-term contract applies.

Responsibilities

• Ensure tasks delegated by supervisor are completed effectively and promptly.
• General administrative duties for Engineering & Community Services.
• Perform typing duties accurately using word processor/computer.
• Capture monthly EPWP leaves.
• Perform leave administration duties.
• Perform other related duties as required by management.

DUTIES

• Handles all internal queries regarding Engineering & Community Services complaints.
• Ensures that all tasks delegated by the supervisor are done effectively and efficiently as deemed fit to be promptly attended as requested.
• General admin duties for Engineering & Community Services by.
• Performing fast and accurate typing duties by utilizing a word processor or personal computer to effective operation of the administration within the sections.
• Capturing of monthly EPWP leaves.
• Perform leave administration duties.
• Perform any other related Ad Hoc tasks and duties as requested or required by management (supervisor) from time to time

SALARY

R 236.57 p.d. (EPWP Data Capture daily rate)
