Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental or Civil Engineering or related science field.
• Minimum 5 years of environmental consulting experience focusing on impact assessments.
• Registered Environmental Assessment Practitioner (EAP) preferred.
• Strong knowledge of South African environmental legislation and policy.
• Proficiency in environmental modeling software and data analysis tools.

Responsibilities

• Conduct Environmental Impact Assessments (EIAs) and Scoping Studies for various development projects.
• Develop and implement Environmental Management Plans (EMPs) and monitoring programs.
• Assess the potential impact of projects on air quality, water resources, soil, biodiversity, and social aspects.
• Prepare detailed environmental reports, technical documentation, and permit applications.
• Liaise effectively with regulatory authorities, clients, and community groups regarding environmental matters.
• Provide technical advice on environmental best practices and compliance strategies throughout project lifecycles.
