Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering.
• 0–3 years internship or co-op experience in process design or related field.
• Familiarity with process simulation software (Aspen HYSYS, ChemCAD) is advantageous.
• Basic understanding of unit operations, thermodynamics, and fluid mechanics.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate in a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist senior engineers in the design and development of chemical processes, including PFDs and P&IDs.
• Perform process simulations using industry-standard software to evaluate process performance and identify design improvements.
• Contribute to the technical specifications and selection of process equipment such as reactors, pumps, and heat exchangers.
• Support the development of operating procedures and safety documentation for new and existing processes.
• Participate in process reviews and hazard identification studies.
• Maintain accurate records of design calculations, documentation, and project progress.
