Job summary

Together Staffing group is seeking an Enterprise Development Specialist to join our reputable client’s team in Johannesburg, South Africa. The role focuses on SMME incubation, enterprise development strategy, and stakeholder engagement to drive growth and job creation.

The ideal candidate will have a tertiary qualification and proven experience in SMME development, with deep knowledge of B-BBEE ESD codes and a track record of delivering tailored interventions and financial analyses.

Qualifications

• Relevant tertiary qualification in Business Management, Finance, Economics, or Development Studies.
• Strong proven experience in SMME incubation, enterprise development strategy, business coaching, and supplier development initiatives.
• In-depth understanding of the B-BBEE Codes of Good Practice, particularly Enterprise and Supplier Development (ESD) elements.
• Proven track record in conducting business needs analyses, designing tailored developmental interventions, and facilitating growth for emerging micro-enterprises and small businesses.
• Strong stakeholder management, project delivery, and financial analysis skills.

Responsibilities

• Designing, implementing, and managing SMME incubation and acceleration programmes.
• Conducting diagnostics and needs assessments to create growth plans for SMMEs.
• Facilitating technical and business support, including mentorship, training, and operational coaching.
• Managing Enterprise and Supplier Development (ESD) fund allocation, compliance, and reporting.
• Monitoring SMME growth, operational sustainability, financial performance, and job creation outcomes. Liaising with corporate clients, ESD managers, funders, and enterprise development agencies.
