Nedbank is seeking an experienced IT Architect to provide guidance on integrating solutions across technologies, ensuring governance and legislative compliance, and delivering IT leadership based on business acumen.

The role emphasizes both team leadership and hands-on contribution, with a focus on aligning technology strategies to Nedbank's roadmaps and driving end-to-end design improvements across multiple initiatives.

Qualifications

• 10-15 years of IT experience in broad infrastructure environments.
• Minimum 2 years in a senior role from feeder areas.
• 8+ years Java experience.
• Accredited certification (JMP or MMP or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Consult and provide advice on the use of multiple technologies and deploy, support and configure them.
• 30% of the responsibilities involve team leadership, while the remaining 70% necessitate a hands-on contribution.
• Develop solutions using knowledge of the technologies.
• Ensure ongoing availability within the SLA requirements.
• Engage with vendors and stakeholders on technology choices.
• Align with IT strategy and architecture roadmaps and drive end-to-end design.
• Upskill stakeholders and lead end-to-end design on projects.
• Document and maintain the end-to-end design and release to stakeholders.
• Stay abreast of developments in field of expertise and drive transformation.
