Placements24 in Port Elizabeth is seeking a dedicated Recruitment Specialist focused on Engineering and Manufacturing. You will manage end-to-end recruitment for mechanical, electrical, and production roles, attract top talent, and build strong client relationships.

The role requires at least 3 years in recruitment, a solid understanding of engineering disciplines, and excellent communication and negotiation skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of recruitment experience, with focus on Engineering and Manufacturing.
• Sourcing and attracting technical and operational talent.
• Understanding of engineering disciplines (mechanical, electrical, industrial) and manufacturing processes.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in recruitment databases and ATS.
• Proactive and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full recruitment lifecycle for engineering and manufacturing roles, including mechanical and electrical engineers, project managers, production supervisors, and skilled trades.
• Source candidates through job boards, networks and industry events.
• Screen and interview candidates to assess qualifications, experience and fit.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships in engineering and manufacturing sectors.
• Understand and articulate complex technical requirements to candidates.
• Negotiate offers and facilitate onboarding process.
• Stay updated on industry trends, market demands and compensation benchmarks.
• Meet and exceed recruitment targets and client satisfaction metrics.
• Collaborate with teammates to share market insights and best practices.
