iX engineers (Pty) Ltd. seeks a seasoned business development professional to drive revenue growth in the energy sector, including renewable energy, energy efficiency and infrastructure solutions.

You will identify opportunities, lead tendering and negotiations, manage strategic accounts, and build strong relationships with clients, investors and regulators while guiding partnerships and market intelligence to support sustainable, annuity-based revenue growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• 5–8 years' experience in business development in energy, infrastructure or engineering sectors.

Responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the energy sector (renewables, energy efficiency, infrastructure).
• Develop and implement strategic BD plans aligned to growth targets.
• Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline to achieve revenue targets.
• Lead tendering, proposals, and contract negotiations.
• Manage client relationships with key accounts, investors and stakeholders.
• Provide market intelligence to support strategy and product development.
• Support transitions toward sustainable, annuity-based revenue models.
• Collaborate with technical, finance and operations teams on deal structuring.
