Job summary

Atrax Logistics is seeking an experienced Airfreight Exports Controller for its Cape Town team. The role requires handling airfreight export shipments from start to finish, coordinating bookings and updates in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of freight forwarding experience with airfreight exports, strong knowledge of Incoterms and customs procedures, and must be comfortable working independently while collaborating with a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' freight forwarding experience with airfreight exports experience.
• Strong knowledge of airfreight export procedures and documentation.
• ShipShape experience is essential.
• Good knowledge of Incoterms.
• Understanding of customs procedures and export clearance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Manage airfreight export shipments from start to finish.
• Prepare accurate estimates and quotations for clients.
• Coordinate collections, airline bookings and cargo movements.
• Liaise with airlines, co-loaders, overseas agents, transporters and suppliers.
• Provide clients with regular, accurate shipment updates.
• Maintain shipment files and system information up to date.
