Placements24 in Vereeniging is seeking an experienced Employee Relations Specialist to foster a fair and constructive workplace. You will handle investigations into grievances, mediate disputes, and advise management on discipline and policy application.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in HR, Law, or Industrial Psychology and at least 5 years in employee relations, with strong knowledge of South African labour law and excellent negotiation, mediation and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Law, Industrial Psychology or related field.
• 5+ years of experience specifically focused on employee relations.
• In-depth knowledge of South African labour legislation and industrial relations principles.

Responsibilities

• Conduct impartial investigations into employee grievances and complaints.
• Mediate disputes between employees and management to achieve resolutions.
• Advise management on best practices for employee relations and disciplinary actions.
• Develop and deliver training on workplace conduct and conflict resolution.
• Ensure consistent application of HR policies and procedures across the organization.
• Stay current with changes in South African labour law and provide guidance accordingly.
