Dante Personnel is seeking a Junior Plant Superintendent to join our team in Polokwane / Pietersburg. You will report to the Production Manager and help manage and optimize day-to-day plant operations, monitor performance, recoveries, and quality, and collaborate with production and engineering teams to ensure reliable plant operation.

Qualifications

• Must have a mining background and a postgraduate degree in Mechanical, Metallurgical, or Chemical Engineering.
• Honours degrees in Mechanical, Metallurgical, and Chemical Engineering are required.
• 2–4 years of experience in a similar plant role.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing and optimizing plant operations.
• Monitor plant performance, production targets, recoveries and quality.
• Identify and implement operational solutions.
• Work closely with production and engineering teams.
• Maintain equipment and ensure reliable plant operation.
• Manage operational teams and uphold safety and discipline standards.
