Oversee daily plant operations to meet production targets, quality standards, and cost objectives.
Develop and implement operational strategies to optimize plant performance and resource utilization.
Manage the maintenance program to ensure equipment reliability and minimize downtime.
Ensure strict adherence to all health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing plant operations team.
Manage plant budgets, capital expenditure, and resource allocation effectively.
Foster a culture of safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement throughout the plant.
Collaborate with other departments, including supply chain, technical services, and sales.
Bachelor's degree in Metallurgical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in mineral processing plant operations, with at least 3 years in a management role.
Proven track record in optimizing plant performance, managing costs, and ensuring safety.
Strong understanding of mineral processing technologies and equipment.
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Experience with process control systems and performance monitoring tools.
