Job summary

Crisis24 Solutions (PTY) LTD in Cape Town, South Africa, is seeking an Embedded Intelligence Analyst to join the in-office GSOC team operating 24/7. You will monitor global events, assess risks, produce concise intelligence reports, and brief leadership.

The role requires OSINT expertise, strong collaboration, and flexibility for shifts. Ideal candidates have 2–5 years in intelligence or security operations, a relevant degree, and excellent communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Intelligence Studies, International Relations, Political Science, Security Studies, or a related field.
• 2-5 years of experience in intelligence analysis, threat assessment, incident response, security operations, or a related field.
• Experience conducting research and producing intelligence assessments using OSINT.
• Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written communication skills with the ability to produce clear, concise intelligence reports.
• Strong verbal communication and briefing skills.
• Experience working in a fast-paced operational or security environment.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines with minimal supervision.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office and mapping tools.
• Willingness to work a rotating 24/7 shift schedule.

Responsibilities

• Monitor global events, emerging risks, and security incidents to identify potential impacts on people, operations, and assets.
• Recognize and respond to crisis situations by following SOPs.
• Monitor and assess travel to high-risk destinations, providing timely guidance to travelers.
• Conduct welfare check-ins during incidents and emerging events.
• Research, analyze, and produce concise written intelligence reports, threat assessments, and briefings using OSINT.
• Deliver written and verbal intelligence briefings to client stakeholders and leadership.
• Triage and respond to client requests, ensuring timely delivery of intelligence products.
• Develop understanding of the client's global footprint to anticipate risks.
• Support continuous improvement of client processes, security protocols, and program documentation.
• Maintain program metrics, prepare reports, and contribute to performance analysis.
• Collaborate with internal experts and Crisis24 resources to enhance intelligence products.
• Build relationships with client stakeholders and internal teams.
• Participate in shift work including evenings, overnights, weekends, holidays.
• Travel to client locations as required.
