About the Role

Our client is seeking a talented and strategic Email Marketing Manager to lead their email channel initiatives. You will be responsible for segmenting audiences, designing compelling email content, managing automation workflows, and analyzing campaign performance to maximize ROI. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive email marketing strategies to support e-commerce sales and customer retention goals.
• Design, write, and execute engaging email campaigns, including newsletters, promotional emails, and automated workflows (e.g., welcome series, abandoned cart emails).
• Segment email lists based on customer behavior, demographics, and purchase history to deliver personalized content.
• Manage and optimize email automation platforms and CRM systems for effective campaign delivery.
• Analyze email campaign performance metrics (open rates, click-through rates, conversion rates, ROI) and provide actionable insights for improvement.
• Ensure compliance with email marketing regulations (e.g., POPIA, GDPR) and maintain high deliverability rates.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Email Marketing Manager or similar role, with a strong track record in e-commerce.
• In-depth knowledge of email marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp, Klaviyo, Sendinblue) and automation tools.
• Experience with customer segmentation, A/B testing, and campaign analysis.
• Excellent copywriting and editing skills with a strong understanding of customer psychology and conversion optimization.
• Familiarity with HTML/CSS for email template design is a plus.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate data into strategic decisions.
