Qualifications

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Sports Science, Exercise Physiology, Kinesiology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in a senior sports performance or strength and conditioning role with leadership experience.
• Certification from a recognized sports science or strength and conditioning organization (e.g., CSCS, UKSCA).

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a holistic sports performance strategy integrating S&C, sports science, nutrition, and recovery protocols.
• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of performance specialists, fostering a collaborative and evidence-based approach to athlete development.
• Oversee assessment and monitoring of athlete physical and physiological development, using data to inform training interventions.
• Collaborate with coaches and technical staff to integrate performance programs with sport-specific training.
• Implement injury prevention programs and manage athlete rehabilitation with medical staff.
• Stay current with latest research and advancements in sports science and performance methodologies.
