Job summary

Standard Bank Group is seeking a Private Banking professional to proactively deliver a relationship-based offering. You will manage affluent client portfolios, engage clients with tailored financial solutions, and drive sustainable profitability for the bank.

Responsibilities include building strong client relationships, identifying cross-sell opportunities, and ensuring credit processes and reviews are executed effectively across portfolios.

Qualifications

• 2 to 4 years' experience in affluent/private banking or relationship management.
• Experience in sales, service and financial solutioning within financial services.
• Strong portfolio management and client-retention capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with Private Banking clients.
• Drive portfolio growth through retention and cross-selling.
• Understand client needs and recommend banking, lending, and wealth solutions.
• Support credit applications, reviews and portfolio administration.
• Manage client queries, risk, and compliance per bank standards.
