Placements24 client hotel in Sandton is seeking an experienced Revenue Manager to maximize room revenue and profitability through inventory control, pricing, and demand forecasting. The role requires strong financial acumen, advanced analytical skills, and deep understanding of the Sandton hospitality market.

The ideal candidate will lead pricing strategies, manage distribution channels, and collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Operations to achieve targets in Gauteng.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in revenue management, preferably within a luxury hotel environment.
• Proven success in implementing revenue strategies that have increased profitability.
• Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills.
• In-depth knowledge of hotel revenue management systems and tools (e.g., IDeaS, Opera PMS).
• Proficiency in Excel and other data analysis software.
• Excellent understanding of the Sandton and Gauteng hotel market dynamics.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a strategic team.
• A proactive approach to identifying opportunities and mitigating risks.

Responsabilités

• Develop and implement revenue management strategies to optimize occupancy and ADR.
• Analyze market trends, competitor pricing, and demand forecasts daily.
• Manage room inventory and pricing across all distribution channels (OTAs, GDS, direct bookings).
• Prepare regular revenue reports, forecasts, and budgets for hotel management.
• Identify opportunities for revenue enhancement and implement promotions.
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Operations to align strategies.
• Monitor booking pace and adjust strategies to meet financial targets in Sandton.
• Analyze the effectiveness of pricing and distribution decisions.
• Stay updated on industry best practices and revenue management technologies.
• Contribute to the overall profitability and success of the hotel in Gauteng.
