Placements24 in Cape Town is seeking a Head Strength and Conditioning Coach to lead elite performance programs across multiple disciplines. You will design and oversee comprehensive regimens, perform athlete assessments, and drive injury prevention and performance enhancement.

You will mentor assistants, collaborate with medical staff, and foster a culture of excellence within the performance department. A master’s degree and 7+ years with head coaching are required, plus CSCS or SCCC

Qualificações

• Master's degree in Exercise Science, Sports Physiology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience as a Strength and Conditioning Coach, with significant head coaching experience.
• Certification from a recognized body (e.g., CSCS, SCCC).
• Proven ability to develop and implement successful athletic performance programs.
• Excellent knowledge of biomechanics, exercise physiology, and sports nutrition.
• Strong leadership, communication, and motivational skills.

Responsabilidades

• Design and execute science-based strength and conditioning programs tailored to athlete needs and team goals.
• Conduct athlete assessments, movement screening, strength testing, and body composition analysis.
• Implement injury prevention protocols and rehabilitation support with medical staff.
• Supervise and mentor assistant coaches and interns.
• Educate athletes on training techniques, nutrition, and recovery strategies.
• Maintain records of athlete progress and performance metrics.
