Job summary

RAVA HUMAN CAPITAL is seeking a qualified Electrical Technician for a position in Mthatha, South Africa. The ideal candidate must have a Grade 12 education, trade qualification, and at least 5 years of relevant post-trade experience in a manufacturing or heavy industry environment.

The role involves maintaining electrical instrumentation, fault finding, and ensuring compliance with OHASA standards. Candidates should possess good PLC and SCADA knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently or in a team.

Qualifications

• 5 years' post trade test experience in a similar position.
• Experience in manufacturing/ heavy industry environment.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance on all electrical instrumentation and software programs.
• Fault finding and repair on all automation and drive equipment.
• Identify and inform Team leader of any health or safety hazards in the plant.
