Job summary

Profession Hub in Mpumalanga seeks an experienced electrical professional to join a growing manufacturing environment. You will maintain and troubleshoot electrical equipment across the plant, manage high- and low-voltage systems, and contribute to safety and efficiency.

You will develop and implement control systems using PLCs such as Allen-Bradley, Siemens S5 and S7, monitor instrumentation, and collaborate with engineering teams to optimise electrical layouts and drive continuous

Qualifications

Red Seal electrician or N6 in Electrical Engineering.
Minimum 6 years experience with electrical equipment in a manufacturing setting.
Extensive knowledge of MV and LV electrical systems.
Strong PLC fault finding and troubleshooting abilities.
Solid understanding of instrumentation and control systems.
Self-motivated with proactive problem-solving.

Responsibilities

Maintain and troubleshoot electrical equipment throughout the plant to ensure optimal operational performance.
Manage high- and low-voltage systems with a focus on safety and efficiency.
Develop and implement control systems using PLCs such as Allen-Bradley, Siemens S5, and S7.
Monitor instrumentation and automate processes to enhance manufacturing productivity.
Collaborate with engineering teams to optimise electrical systems and implement continuous improvements.
Strong electrical maintenance experience.
