Placements24 is seeking an Electrical Technician to support power generation facilities in Centurion. The role covers installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical equipment essential for continuous plant operation.

Qualifications

• National Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience as Electrical Technician in power generation or heavy industrial setting.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting electrical systems and LV/MV equipment.

Responsibilities

• Install, test, and commission electrical equipment such as generators, transformers, switchgear, and control systems.
• Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and preventative repairs on electrical plant equipment.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults and failures, implementing effective solutions.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
• Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols and environmental regulations.
