Job summary

Outsourced Cad Solutions seeks a technically strong Electrical Revit BIM Draughtsman to join an established Electrical Consulting Engineering practice. You will produce accurate electrical models and construction documentation using Revit MEP and BIM workflows.

You will collaborate with Electrical Engineers and Project Engineers to coordinate multidisciplinary models, perform clash detection, and maintain BIM integrity across project stages.

Qualifications

• Relevant qualification in Electrical Engineering, Draughting or a related discipline.
• 3–5+ years' relevant experience in electrical draughting/BIM.
• Strong Revit MEP – Electrical proficiency.
• Experience on commercial, retail, industrial or other building-services projects.

Responsibilities

• Produce detailed electrical BIM models using Autodesk Revit MEP.
• Prepare electrical construction drawings, layouts and documentation.
• Model lighting, small power, HV/LV distribution and cable containment.
• Model generator, UPS, earthing and lightning protection systems.
• Produce fire detection and related electrical layouts.
• Coordinate electrical models with architectural, structural and mechanical disciplines.
• Participate in BIM coordination and clash detection.
• Produce schedules, legends and drawing sheets from Revit.
• Maintain and update BIM models throughout project stages.
• Assist engineers with revisions, construction documentation and as-built drawings.

Minimum Requirements
