Job summary

RPO Recruitment is seeking a skilled Revit Technician to join a leading engineering consultancy's Electrical team in Cape Town. You'll draught electrical designs in Revit across commercial, retail, industrial and multi-residential sectors, delivering detailed 3D models and precise drawings.

Working in a collaborative engineering group, you'll cover MV/LV, generators, lighting, access control, CCTV and data networks, using the latest software.

Qualifications

• Must hold formal qualification in Autodesk Revit.
• 4–5 years hands-on Revit experience with strong 3D proficiency.
• Experience in electrical or building services draughting preferred.
• Excellent communication and cross-team collaboration skills.
• Collaborative, team‑oriented work ethic.
• Valid driver's license.
• Own reliable transport.

Our client, a leading engineering consultancy, is looking for a skilled Revit Technician to join their Electrical team based in Cape Town. This is a fantastic opportunity for a technically proficient draughtsperson to work on large-scale, high-profile projects across the commercial, retail, industrial, and multi-residential sectors.

You will be responsible for the Revit draughting of electrical and electronic engineering designs across a diverse range of building types. Working within a collaborative engineering team, you will produce detailed 3D models and drawings covering a broad spectrum of electrical systems - from MV/LV installations and generators to lighting, access control, CCTV, and data networks - using the latest available software.

• Formal qualification in Autodesk Revit
• 4 to 5 years of hands-on Revit experience, with strong proficiency in Revit 3D
• Experience in electrical or building services draughting is highly advantageous
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage confidently across teams
• A collaborative, team-oriented approach and a positive work ethic
• Valid driver's license
• Own reliable transport
