Job summary

RPO Recruitment is assisting a leading engineering consultancy in Cape Town to find a skilled Revit Technician for their Electrical team. You will draught electrical designs, create detailed 3D models, and produce drawings across commercial, retail, industrial, and multi-res sectors.

Ideal candidates have formal Autodesk Revit qualifications and 4–5 years of hands-on Revit experience, with strong 3D proficiency. A drivers license and own transport are preferred as the role is based in Cape Town.

Our client, a leading engineering consultancy, is looking for a skilled Revit Technician to join their Electrical team based in Cape Town. This is a fantastic opportunity for a technically proficient draughtsperson to work on large-scale, high-profile projects across the commercial, retail, industrial, and multi-residential sectors.

You will be responsible for the Revit draughting of electrical and electronic engineering designs across a diverse range of building types. Working within a collaborative engineering team, you will produce detailed 3D models and drawings covering a broad spectrum of electrical systems - from MV/LV installations and generators to lighting, access control, CCTV, and data networks - using the latest available software.

• Formal qualification in Autodesk Revit
• 4 to 5 years of hands-on Revit experience, with strong proficiency in Revit 3D
• Experience in electrical or building services draughting is highly advantageous
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage confidently across teams
• A collaborative, team-oriented approach and a positive work ethic
• Valid driver's license
• Own reliable transport
