Job summary

Bright Placements in Centurion is seeking an Electrical Draughtsman to produce accurate electrical drawings and documentation for building services projects. You will work with engineers to ensure compliance with SANS standards and municipal regulations, and you may travel within South Africa as required.

The role requires 3–5 years of electrical drafting experience and strong proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit, with a sound understanding of electrical building services and related codes.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of relevant electrical drafting experience
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit
• Sound understanding of electrical building services, SANS standards and municipal requirements
• Ability to read, interpret and work from engineering and architectural drawings
• Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel within South Africa

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed technical drawings for electrical reticulation systems, small power and distribution boards, earthing and lightning protection systems
• Produce, update and revise electrical drawings using AutoCAD and Revit
• Assist Electrical Engineers and Project Managers with technical documentation and drawing revisions
• Ensure all drawings comply with SANS standards, municipal regulations and company quality standards
• Coordinate electrical drawings with architectural, mechanical, wet services and structural disciplines
• Travel to project sites within South Africa when required
• Prepare and update as-built drawings and project documentation
