Placements24 in Centurion is seeking a proactive Electrical Project Engineer to manage and execute electrical engineering projects across large infrastructure and industrial developments. You will oversee the full lifecycle from planning and design review to site implementation and handover.

The ideal candidate has a B.Eng in Electrical Engineering, at least 5 years' experience in project engineering, and strong leadership and problem-solving skills, with familiarity in MS Project or Primavera

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng) in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in project engineering, electrical domain.
• Experience managing electrical infrastructure projects.
• Familiarity with MS Project or Primavera.
• Strong understanding of electrical safety standards and SA regulatory compliance.
• Excellent leadership, negotiation and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage all phases of electrical engineering projects, including planning, scheduling, resource allocation, and budget control.
• Coordinate with internal teams, external contractors, and stakeholders to meet objectives.
• Oversee design, procurement, installation, and commissioning of electrical systems.
• Conduct site inspections ensuring safety, quality and regulatory compliance.
• Prepare project reports, documentation, and technical specifications.
• Identify and mitigate project risks and delays.
