Placements24 is seeking an Electrical Project Engineer to manage electrical installations on Randburg construction sites. You will ensure safety, quality, and timely delivery, coordinating with site teams, subcontractors, and clients.

The ideal candidate holds a B.Eng. or B.Tech in Electrical Engineering with 4+ years of construction experience, strong leadership and reading drawings, and knowledge of local codes.

Qualifications

• B.Eng. or B.Tech. in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in electrical project engineering, particularly in construction.
• Strong knowledge of building services, power distribution, and low-voltage systems.
• Experience reading and interpreting electrical drawings and specifications.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of local building codes and safety regulations in Randburg.

Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise the installation of electrical systems on construction sites.
• Review electrical designs and ensure they meet project requirements and standards.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and site personnel to ensure timely project completion.
• Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and quality control measures on site.
• Prepare project documentation, including progress reports and as-built drawings.
